Skills Open Session
Our weekly open training session. Coached skills work, small-sided games and plenty of court time. Open to all abilities, from first-timers to players chasing a place in our competitive squads.
First visit? No need to book. Come 10 minutes early with a parent or guardian so a coach can sign you in.

Questions answered
Who can come to the Skills Open Session?
Any player aged 10 to 16, boys and girls, from complete beginners to experienced players. No trial or booking is needed for your first visit. Just turn up on Thursday at 6:00pm.
What should my child bring?
Trainers with non-marking soles, shorts and a t-shirt or vest, and a full water bottle. Basketballs are provided. Please arrive 10 minutes early so a coach can sign you in.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
£7 per session or £25 per month. Both are paid securely through Monzo using the Pay Now buttons on this page. Put the player's name in the payment reference so the coaches can match it.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay for the session. A parent or guardian should come along for sign-in on the first visit.
How do players join a competitive team?
Our U12, U14 and U16 squads compete in the HBL, Jnr.NBL and BDL. Coaches select squads from players who train regularly at the Thursday session, so the open session is the best place to start.
