Basketball has always been more than a game — it is a platform to inspire, develop, and build community. The London Mambas were founded in 2024 with a vision to create real opportunities for young players in West London, rooted in a culture of hard work, discipline and family.
What started in a local Filipino league quickly became something much bigger. In our very first competitive season, we swept the U12, U14 and U16 HBL titles — not through luck, but through relentless commitment and the belief that every player can reach their full potential both on and off the court.
Today we compete across HBL, Jnr.NBL and BDL, offering open sessions, Mini Mamba beginner programmes and seasonal camps at Heston Community School, Hounslow. Whether you are just starting out or ready to compete at the highest level — there is a place for you here.
Relentless work ethic, growth mindset, refuse to settle for second best.
Basketball for everyone — inclusive, diverse, rooted in London culture.
High standards on and off the court in performance and conduct.
Basketball has always been more than just a game to Coach Rey - it has been a platform to inspire, develop, and build a community. With a coaching philosophy centred on player development, teamwork and discipline, he founded the London Mambas in 2024.
Starting in the local Filipino basketball community, the club quickly established itself as competitive and determined, winning four championships through hard work and a strong team culture. Taking the club into the BDL Development League gave players a more structured, competitive environment to elevate their game.
Today, as Head Coach of the U14 London Mambas NBL team, Coach Rey leads the programme into an exciting new chapter as the club prepares to enter the Junior National League.
"My goal has never only been about winning games - it is about building character, creating opportunities, and helping young athletes believe in themselves."
With over 30 years of experience in the Filipino Kampi League, Christopher brings a deep understanding of game strategy and analysis to the table. His extensive background helps him mentor players effectively, guiding them through the complexities of competition and enhancing their overall performance.
He believes in creating a culture of hard work and discipline, inspiring players to give their best in every practice and game.
"Go slow, keep going, the speed will come."
Former basketball player with a passion for being a catalyst to the young generation's development in sport and character as they grow into the community. A student physiotherapist and soon-to-be Level 2 Basketball Coach, currently focused on his own craft while learning to balance developing other players — sharpening their skills, sportsmanship and attitude, as well as his own, to ensure he can constantly provide the most support possible to every player's development.
At London Mambas, the drive is to uplift and develop the younger generation who may not yet have the confidence to come out of their shell — as a person or as an athlete. With the Mamba Mentality as the foundation, the club is rooted in discipline, high energy, hustle, and what Euan believes is the strongest asset of all: Community. Every session, every game, every coaching decision is made for the team and the people behind them — never for personal gain. We play for each other.
His role within the club is to support player development through basketball coaching, with plans to offer a sports massage service and physiotherapy on the sidelines — ensuring player safety alongside ongoing recovery and rehabilitation.
"We share the same goal and the same mindset: to learn how to fight for what we want, turning losses into lessons, and understanding that wins come as a by-product of hard work and discipline — never handed to us."
A former basketball player with a passion for helping young athletes become the best versions of themselves both on and off the court. Dan is a qualified Personal Trainer and Level 2 Basketball Coach, focused on developing players through skill development, sports performance, and positive mentorship.
At London Mambas, players and coaches feel like family. The culture is built on dedication, discipline, hard work, and most importantly, joy. The Mamba Mentality is not just about basketball — it's about how we approach everyday life, growth, and adversity.
Dan's role within the club is to support player development through basketball coaching, strength & conditioning, and nutrition education. What athletes do outside of training — recovery, habits, mindset, and preparation — is often what separates good players from great ones.
"Our goal is to help every player build confidence, character, resilience, and a genuine love for the game."
